The Syvecs Plug-and-Play ECU Kit for the Audi RS3 8Y1 (Pre-Facelift) is a fully integrated engine management solution developed for early MQB Evo–based RS3 platforms equipped with the factory 2.5 TFSI engine.

This kit interfaces directly with the vehicle’s electrical architecture via a true plug-and-play connection, allowing installation without any cutting, splicing, or permanent vehicle modification. Once installed, the Syvecs ECU integrates seamlessly with the car, unlocking a substantially higher level of engine and drivetrain control while retaining all standard OEM functionality.

The system is designed to remove the inherent limitations of the factory ECU while maintaining OEM refinement, drivability, and system integration.

The pre-facelift RS3 8Y1 introduced the MQB Evo platform along with increased factory ECU constraints. The Syvecs Plug-and-Play ECU Kit removes these limitations entirely, making it suitable for high-power road cars, big-turbo conversions, ethanol and multi-fuel setups, track and competition vehicles, and advanced development projects.

All of this is achieved while maintaining OEM drivability and full vehicle system integration.

Based on the Syvecs S7 Plus ECU, the Plug in ECU integrates with all the OEM Audi Electronics but allows full control of the engine offering some of the following features:

• Fuel pump control of both main, and sub pumps, as well as relative fuel pressure monitoring and limiting in the event of fuel pressure dropping on boost.
• 4 different Pedal to Throttle Angle maps with multipliers for different parameters e.g. speed. Again adjustable via steering wheel buttons.
• Configurable individual cylinder closed loop knock control, to suit any cylinder modification with adjustments to frequency, windows for listening and gains for each cylinder. Ability to trigger full cylinder shutdown in severe knock conditions.
• Change torque reduction levels on shifts. Essential for very high power applications where the maximum reduction available via the stock ECU is not enough to prevent damage to components.
• Ability to change Torque ramp in after launch.
• Change throttle blip requests to match your torque band. Especially useful on oversized turbo installations.
• Run up to 7bar map sensors.
• Change injector dead times based on voltage levels for proper control.
• Change injector end angle to ensure injection point is properly calibrated.
• Ability to fit any type of external sensor to monitor and trigger safety trips from anything such as crank case pressure to damper position.
• Ability to use any size DBW throttle body e.g. Chevrolet LS7.
• Wet and Dry – wet and dry nitrous control with ability to drive solenoids directly and control n20 heaters via pressure monitoring.
