Eventuri Carbon Fibre Intake With Secondary Duct Audi RS4 RS5 B9

The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the Audi B9 RS4 and RS5 was developed to give less restrictive airflow to the turbo whilst maintaining low inlet temperatures. The B9 engine bay becomes heat soaked very quickly, so an open cone system would give better airflow but higher inlet temperatures — Eventuri instead completely re-engineered the inlet track from the turbo inlet pipe to the front grill with a highly efficient sealed system.

The restrictive stock airbox and flexible plastic inlet pipe are replaced with a Venturi filter housing and a duct system with smooth transitions. The one-piece Venturi housing shrouds the reverse-mounted, bespoke generation 2 filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down to its integrated tube, which matches the turbo tube in diameter — removing the need for the convoluted rubber hose between intake and engine, so airflow is much smoother as it enters the turbo inlet tube.

The sealed system keeps intake air temperatures low, with the front air scoop forcing air into the system. Independent back-to-back dyno testing on an otherwise standard B9 RS5, bonnet closed, showed power and torque increased through a large portion of the rev range, translating to sharper part and full throttle response with the car pulling more eagerly to the redline.
