Eventuri Carbon Fibre Intake Volkswagen Golf GTI R MK7 MK7.5

The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the VAG 2.0 TSI provides the most efficient and direct airflow path to the turbo, replacing the OEM airbox with Eventuri's patented Venturi housing paired with a smooth inlet duct to maintain laminar airflow throughout. A cold air scoop added to the front grille creates a true cold air feed, resulting in the lowest possible intake air temperatures. The standard OEM airbox is cuboid in shape, creating turbulence and increased drag on the turbo, and draws in warm engine bay air despite extending across the full width of the grille.

 During development, both single and double duct designs were tested - the single duct proved more effective, providing the smoothest and most direct airflow path to the filter. Independently dyno tested on a Golf 7 R with a remap already applied, with all tests carried out back-to-back on the same day with the bonnet closed.
