The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the BMW F9X X5M / X6M and G09 XM is a complete redesign of the stock airboxes, developed to reduce pressure loss, increase flow rate and keep inlet temperatures low. With the stock cold air feeds at the front of the car and the turbo inlets facing the rear, airflow must negotiate a 180-degree turn through each airbox.

Eventuri addresses this by introducing an additional cold air feed from the scuttle panel, creating a more direct flow path to the turbo inlets while keeping IATs low. The additional feeds also de-restrict turbo sound - with the intake openings now facing the cabin, turbo flutter and pressure release sounds are clearly audible. Independently dyno tested by MSL Performance in the UK back-to-back against the stock airbox, showing consistent gains throughout a large portion of the RPM range.
