Eventuri Carbon Fibre Intake Audi S4 S5 B9

The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the Audi B9 S4 and S5 was developed to give less restrictive airflow to the turbo whilst maintaining low inlet temperatures. The B9 engine bay becomes heat soaked very quickly, so an open cone system would give better airflow but higher inlet temperatures — Eventuri instead completely re-engineered the inlet track from the turbo inlet pipe to the front grill with a highly efficient sealed system, constructed from pure prepreg carbon fibre, which is great at insulating from heat.

The restrictive stock airbox and flexible plastic inlet pipe are replaced with a patented Venturi filter housing and a duct system with smooth transitions. The one-piece housing with its bespoke generation 2 filter provides a smooth transition from filter to intake tube with no convoluted rubber section, maintaining laminar flow and helping the turbo run more efficiently, while the sealed duct channels ambient air from the front scoop to the filter. V-Box road testing showed 60-130mph acceleration reduced by almost half a second with just the intake added.
