Eventuri Carbon Chargepipes BMW S55 M2 M3 M4 F-Series

The Eventuri Carbon Chargepipes for the BMW S55 are OEM replacement chargepipes developed through months of intense R&D and testing, designed around three criteria: fitment, flow quality and strength.

A common issue with aftermarket chargepipes made from bent metal tubes is poor fitment, with clearance problems against the engine cover and aftermarket intake systems. Carbon fibre allows Eventuri to use complex geometry for an OEM-like fit while retaining optimum flow. The design uses smooth curve transitions from the turbo outlets to the charge-cooler, with an increased internal volume over the OEM version so the turbos work with less restriction, and the machined flange attachment maintains a constant diameter with no exposed edges to cause turbulence — an improvement over metal chargepipes with welds between flange and tube.

With OEM chargepipe failure increasingly common on tuned cars running higher boost, the pipes are built from multiple layers of high temperature prepreg carbon fibre in a cross-directional weave forming a 2mm wall thickness, with CNC machined stainless steel rings embedded in the openings so the pipes maintain their shape under high clamping forces. The turbo connection uses CNC machined flanges in black anodised aircraft grade aluminium, sealing with the OEM O-rings. Note that no methanol ports are included, to preserve structural reliability — Eventuri are developing a separate J-pipe incorporating multiple methanol ports.
