However, due to the oil cooler’s low-level placement and lack of protection from road debris that may flick up, it is left open and exposed to damage, which could cause imminent engine failure.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eOur solution to creating a direct replacement undertray in aluminium began with a full 3D scan of the vehicle’s underside to ensure a perfect fitment that reuses all original mounting points.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eAs a result, it requires no drilling or cutting and is completely reversible if required. It also retains the original BMW rubber bumper trim.
