The Toyota Yaris GR Clutch has proven itself to be a weak link after only 4-5 months from the Launch date.
The friction material has proven itself to be not upto the job of carrying the torque and power the 4wd system can handle Launch after Launch.

Pumaspeed have been making Clutches for over 20 years and have a reputation for taking a sensible approach to the upgrading of any clutch, The Yaris is a Tiny Lightweight Pocket Rocket and does not require an expensive harsh clutch with a heavy pedal feel, A Harsh Pedal can ruin the driving experiaence and can slow down the speed of the gear change.


For the Yaris we have created a range of clutches based around the Stock unit and made a conscious choice to stay away from heavy pedal pressure plates and twin friction units that simply offer added grab and seldom add to the enjoyment of the driving Experience.

The Stage 1 – 300 plus bhp – Road
This unit offers the Driver a perfect solution to upgrade the Stock Clutch by using a Brand New OE Toyota Self Adjusting Pressure Plate and then swapping the drive plate out for a much stronger and heavy duty unit with much stronger and Wider Fully Woven Friction Material.
This unit is rated to well over 350bhp and 460nm and will take the abuse of the 4wd Launch time and time again without the material falling apart like the Original OE Unit
