Description
The next generation engine internal pressure control valve is finally born!
T-REV system created by joint development of TERAMOTO RACING and J’S RACING!
Please experience the J’S RACING version of the T-REV, which has been configured specifically for each Honda car!
Stay tuned for other vehicle models as they will be released one after another!
With a unique decompression setting that matches the engine characteristics of the engine, you can experience the difference, especially from the middle rpm range.
What is the T-REV system?
T-REV is a system that uses the pulsation of blow-by gas called natural decompression.
This system simply depressurizes the inside of the engine and negatively pressurizes the inside of the crankcase, which makes the movement of the piston and crankshaft smooth, and the depressurizing effect has an amazing 100% chance of working. It will:
- Significantly reduces the resistance due to the pressure inside the engine
- Improved accelerator response
- Improved engine feeling during acceleration
- CO2 reduction by reducing the amount of accelerator depression
The latest racing machines that demonstrate top performance also employ this principle, and by smoothing the engine response, the rough parts of each operation are greatly eased.

Mounting configuration
A system that uses air induction by simply sucking blow-by gas in the crankcase with a genuine PCV valve and attaching the T-REV system to the breather hose.
The system uses the negative pressure generated from the exhaust port to extract the crankcase internal pressure.
With this system, you can use it with confidence because the decompression value is set according to the thickness of the hose, the size of the joint, and the engine characteristics.
Basic decompression principle
Currently, the most popular internal combustion engine for automobiles on the market is the reciprocating engine. This reciprocating engine is the most basic internal combustion engine at present, and the piston in the engine repeatedly moves through the process of 1. intake 2. compression 3. expansion (explosion) 4. exhaust.
In the engine, this work is done at an unstoppable speed of several thousand revolutions per minute.
The point of the crankcase pressure reducing valve (T-REV) is in the case below the piston.
When the piston is pushed down at high pressure due to expansion (explosion), part of the gas blows through the piston ring and flows into the crankcase. This kind of gas is called “blow-by gas”, and the pressure in the crankcase rises due to this blow-by gas, and when the piston lowers at this time, it becomes a strong force resistance.
This “pumping loss” is one of the engine brakes, but it also resists the piston movement of the engine.
The blow-by gas with this excess pressure is discharged from the breather (holes for removing blow-by gas, pipes and hoses), but the inside of the crankcase is added because the outside air is sucked in when the piston rises and the accelerator is turned off. It remains under pressure.
Therefore, the crankcase pressure reducing valve ” T-REV ” is installed in the breather path to prevent backflow of blow-by gas and outside air, and to optimize the internal pressure of the crankcase (make it negative pressure) to achieve the engine’s original performance. The same power can be produced with less fuel.
The splendor of T-REV
“T-REV” has a special structure different from the conventional pressure reducing valve.
Blow-by gas discharged from the breather uses a hydrodynamic vortex to increase the flow velocity, and a “spiral line” is applied inside the T-REV so that it can be discharged smoothly , and the reed valve surface has three surfaces. The structure distributes the blow-by gas more smoothly by distributing the force per surface.
Since the T-REV uses a reed valve with a characteristic triangular pyramid design, due to malfunction of the reed valve due to excessive outside air from the air cleaner box, malfunction due to emulsion (oil emulsification), and internal structure problems. There is no restriction on the mounting direction (upper, lower, left and right).
All components are available as repair parts for long-term habitual use.
Since the reed valve shim plate is a consumable item, we recommend that you replace it regularly.
