The VW/Audi MQB platform vehicles combine a potent turbocharged 4-cylinder, modern styling, and a surprisingly effective chassis to produce a vehicle that portrays the legendary spirit of the hot hatch. Mishimoto has provided substantial support in the cooling department for the MQB platform in the form of a MK7 Performance Aluminum Radiator and a MK7 Performance Intercooler . To continue providing products for our VW and Audi customers, Mishimoto has developed a silicone intake coolant re-route hose kit. Although a small component, this hose upgrade makes a significant difference in engine bay aesthetics for vehicles featuring an aftermarket intake system such as the Mishimoto MQB Performance Air Intake . Our silicone re-route hose is constructed from five layers of silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers. This material is superior to the factory rubber counterpart and will provide years of service without degrading. Mishimoto engineers have integrated a factory-style internal check valve to ensure coolant returns to the reservoir properly. This kit is designed to function with both stock intake systems as well as aftermarket air intake kits. This kit includes high-quality worm gear clamps, making installation hassle-free. As with all Mishimoto MK7/8V products, our Coolant Re-Route Hose Kit includes the signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
